Catechesis of joy
Happiness is seeing God in a Rose.
Happiness is seeing a rose in God.
Happiness is seeing me in you.
Happiness is seeing you and me.
with but a small humorous footnote
Happiness is to see the sun rise and set
and the moon to announce its presence for lovers,
about to set out for a long-wished-tryst…
Happiness is friends sitting together and joking about
Mocking each other as to good looks and creating ‘doubt’
Happiness is to see the self as a figure of mirth,
Strolling life after life throughout the fresh universe,
Birth after birth in the mood of boddhisattva.
Happiness is to understand the boddha-tattva,
As but the reality of earth, water, fire, air ether et al.
Viz opposing forces of pleasure and pain have found a temporary house.
Happiness is when laughter comes easy, and tears are free to flow.
Happiness is not to ask questions but to rise to the level of Now
Understanding the artifice of misery and woe.
Om tat sat: May this small song-of-art be but a catechesis for the heart.
